These pillows are extremely soft and are made of a woven nylon that is quieter, more flexible and generates less heat buildup than conventional vinyl ticking. It's also fluid-proof, flame-retardant, antimicrobial, mold and mildew-resistant and anti-static. The nylon ticking has an antimicrobial treatment designed to last the life of the pillow. These pillows do an outstanding job of resisting fluid penetration.
